Sinead, her younger sister, was born. She was the only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea is her maiden name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian is an equine doctor who killed himself when she was just three. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she turned thirteen. Bea chose to stage her name Bea to pay tribute to her father who passed away. Bea also wrote a 2017 article in The Guardian on her family's suicide experience. Bea was raised alongside her older sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, as well as a former professional racer. Their family was enthralled by races as well as horses. Bea began her career as tourist guides at Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her passion was for performing and not racing.
